There was talk of bringing both Neville and Finn Balor from NXT to WWE’s main roster as recent as during WrestleMania 31 Week. With Neville getting the call-up two weeks ago, there continues to be strong speculation that we will see Balor on RAW soon.
Balor, who is on the current tour of Europe and will be backstage at RAW today, could be coming to the main roster without a NXT Title reign. WWE has been planning for current champion Kevin Owens to have a lengthy reign and he is not expected to drop the title any time soon.
Tonight’s WWE RAW will take place from the O2 Arena in London, England. We will have live spoilers from the show at around 2:30pm EST this afternoon.
Confirmed for tonight’s show is a #1 Contender Divas Battle Royal with the winner facing Divas Champion Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules and a United States Title Match with John Cena defending in his “US Open” challenge. Other stars advertised for tonight include Randy Orton, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Rusev, Kane, Ryback, Paige and The Bella Twins. WWE is also teasing that we may find out Bray Wyatt’s next feud on tonight’s show.
WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:
* How will The Viper get even with Seth Rollins?
* Could John Cena lose the U.S. Title in the U.K.?
* Which Diva will get the ultimate chance against Nikki Bella?
* Will Sheamus be cut down to size?
* Has The Miz’s spotlight been stolen?

– We noted before that WWE officials were not happy about this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony going long. For next year’s ceremony, officials will be working on steps to keep the ceremony to three hours, as originally planned.
– As noted, the April 4th WWE NXT live event in Orlando had around 350 fans in attendance. This event was sold out in advance with 250 to 300 tickets sold and then they had a number of fans standing for the show. NXT even had to turn fans away that night.
– Chris Jericho revealed last week that his live WWE Network podcast with John Cena was the third most-watched special in WWE Network history besides live pay-pr-view events. The first two most-watched special were Steve Austin’s interviews with Vince McMahon and Triple H, so Jericho’s interview didn’t beat those but did beat the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies, all Takeover specials and last year’s Ultimate Warrior specials.
Controversial wrestling personality Vince Russo recently spoke to WrestleTalk TV about another lightning rod for controversy in CM Punk. Russo voiced his worried over Punk joining the UFC.
“There are two things that concern me,” Russo said. “I’m not a big UFC guy, but I’ve talked to enough guys in UFC. The two things that concern me are Punk’s age. He’s not going into UFC as a spring chicken, he’s in his late 30’s.”
Russo said even more than CM Punk’s age, he worries about the toll that pro wrestling took on his body. Since signing with WWE, Punk claims he’s healthy after sustaining a fractured skull, concussions, and a staph infection during his time in wrestling.
“Number two what I’m more concerned about is the injuries he sustained in the WWE,” Russo said. “You’re going to heal from injuries, but every time you bounce back, you’re a little less of yourself. He’s had so many injuries in the WWE, if he goes into the UFC against younger, healthier fighters, I’d be concerned.”
Russo goes on to say that he thinks if CM Punk had started MMA towards the beginning of his career the case may be different. He also wished Punk well in his MMA career. You can see WrestleTalk TV’s full video above.
Wrestling Inc has broke a story in regards to UFC Fighter Matt Riddle and noted that he will be participating in a WWE tryout next month in Orlando.
The 29-year old Riddle has been training at the world famous Monster Factory since late last year, and has also started working on the school’s independent shows. This weekend Riddle took on Ring of Honor contracted talent Rhett Titus.
Riddle is billed at 6’2, 225 pounds, quite the jump from the 170 pounds he cut to often throughout his MMA career. Riddle’s wife Lisa, a former gymnast at Louisiana State University has also been training alongside him, but we have no word on if she’ll be participating in a tryout as well.

We spoke to Riddle in an interview ran earlier this month, and the former UFC fighter said the rigors of professional wrestling travel isn’t something he’s concerned about. Injuries and contractual issues limited Riddle to only two MMA fights throughout 2013 and 2014.
Riddle was released UFC off of four consecutive wins after two of them were overturned due to positive tests for marijuana. Riddle would go on to be contracted by Bellator MMA and Titan FC, but fought only once under the Titan FC banner before hanging up his gloves. Riddle told us that he isn’t sure an MMA return is in the cards, but won’t rule it out.
WWA would run nine shows between the last PPV and this one. Psicosis would win the International Cruiserweight Championship from Juvy on December 8th in Glasgow, Scotland. Jeff Jarrett would either successfully defend his title against Road Dog and Scott Steiner in three way matches during the shows or be pinned by Brian Christopher in tag team matches. The last show of that tour took place on December 12th and WWA would not return until tonight’s PPV which aired live. Randy Savage was to be at this show but during the 30 minute pre show that aired a “X” would appear over images of him to let us know he was that going to be there.
Champion: Jeff Jarrett
International Cruiserweight Championship: Psicosis
Tantric opens up the show with some terrible live music.
Opening video. The opening video has some clips from the house shows which means there is some unreleased WWA footage sitting somewhere.
Jeremy Borash and Mark Madden welcome us LIVE to WWA Revolution.
Nova vs. Low Ki vs. Shark Boy vs. AJ Styles vs. Tony Mamaluke vs. “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, ref Mark Johnson
Mamaluke and Styles start off. Madden is a moron and says it’s the first PPV for all six. Apparently not knowing about the company named ECW. Mamaluke may have also been on WCW PPV that Madden would have also actually been at. I don’t check on that though. Tony hits a sick looking german and Shark Boy switches with AJ. Shark Boy hits an atomic drop and then bites Mamaluke on the ass. Low Ki comes in and he kicks Shark Boy in the face. Daniels tags himself in and he goes to work on Ki. Ki slaps Nova on the chest to tag him in. Nova and Daniels with some fast back and forth and then Nova tags Ki. They hit a double gordsbuster on Daniels. Ki with a springboard kick gets a 2. Daniels tags Mamaluke. Mamaluke goes up top but Ki knocks him down and meets him up there. Shark Boy comes in and they do a power bomb superplex combo. Shark Boy covers but he is not the legal man. Daniels tags Shark Boy and somehow he becomes the legal man. They three men go to the floor and hit some dives. Nova and Styles now in the ring as everyone else is on the floor. Shark Boy with a rana from the top for 2. Shark Boy with diamond dust but Ki tags Tony during the move. Ki with a spring board kick on Shark Boy for the elimination in 7.48. AJ now in. KI kicks the shit out of AJ but only gets a 2. They each cross body and then tag Tony and Daniels. Tony with a snap suplex and then a northern lights for 2. Tony’s nose got busted open at some point in the match. Tony with a super belly to back. Daniels able to kick out. Daniels comes back and hits the angel’s wings and then tags AJ. AJ comes in and hits styles clash for the pin in 11.26. Nova comes in and hits a back breaker and somersault senton for a 2. Tag to Daniels and they hit a double atomic drop. KI gets tagged and goes to work on Daniels. Daniels with an electric chair drop and tags Nova. Nova comes in with an elbow drop for 2. Daniels makes a blind tag. KI and Nova are on the top and Ki locks in some sick looking submission from the top rope. KI with a phoenix splash for 2. Hardly connect and looked like shit though. Daniels and KI go to the floor and Daniels hits the arabian press to the floor. Styles with a shooting star to the floor! Nova goes up top but KI cuts him off. KI goes up with him but Daniels runs up hops on the second rope and pulls KI down with a urinagi slam for the pin in 15.21. Nova comes off the top now with a drop kick. AJ back in and he goes to work on Nova. Daniels goes for a enziguri on AJ but AJ ducks and it nails Nova. AJ with a neck breaker on Daniels. Urinagi by Daniels and the BME gets 2 and a half. AJ sunset flips Nova while he has a waist lock on Daniels and Daniels ends up getting germaned. That looked cool. AJ hits a super styles clash on Daniels and Daniels in gone in 18.10. AJ and Nova left and Nova hits a downward spiral for 2. Kryptonite crunch reversed into a german and then a belly to back into a face plant by AJ. AJ goes up top but Nova meets him up there. Nova hits a spanish fly for the win in 19.40. This was a fun spotfest.
Commissioner Bret “Hitman” Hart comes out and lets the fans know Randy Savage will not be there. Bret Hart says that Brian Christopher is going to be in the main event instead. Some replacement. Bret again talks about 9-11 and talks about Bin Ladin to get the crowd a hot. Why to take the focus off the fact that you totally just fucked the main event.
Midget wrestlers Puppet and Teo are about to brawl in the back when “The Funkster” Alan Funk shows up doing a fantastic Hulk Hogan impression. The midgets are so dumb founded they just stop and stare. After Funk leaves Puppet chases Teo.
Reno vs. The Funkster
Reno attacks as the ref checks Funk. Funk hits clotheslines in the corner and then an alley oop. The announcers really hyping that Brian Christopher announcement. Reno throws Funk onto the top rope and and then drop kicks him to the floor. Reno follows and beats on Funk on the floor. Back in the ring a gut wrench suplex gets 2 for Reno. Reno with an overhead belly to belly that almost kills Funk. Reno hits a few more suplexes until Funk “funks up” Reno though ducks the big boot and hits the roll of the dice. Reno though doesn’t go for the pin and heads to the second turnbuckle. Funk gets the boot up and he again “funks up”. Funk with a big boot, piledriver and leg drop for the win in 7.33.
A limo shows up and a bunch of girls and Scott Steiner come out. Disco Inferno comes out and is pissed off that his match with Brian Christopher got canceled. Disco says he should have been the one to be moved into the main event. Disco says that he is going to issue an open challenge and until someone comes out to wrestle him he is going to to join the commentary team. Disco and Madden argue with each other for about ten minutes. Borash tries to throw it to the next match like five different times. Apparently someone wasn’t ready or something. It looked bad.
Native Blood vs. Kronik, ref Mark Johnson
Native Blood is Navajo Warrior and Ghost Walker. They attack from behind but it doesn’t last long. Brian Adams with a press slam and he throws Walker out of the ring onto his partner. Bryan Clark with a somersault senton off the apron. Full nelson slam by Adams onto Warrior but the pin is broken up. Walker tags in but runs into a powerslam from Clark. Clark with a chokeslam and then he tags. Blood make a come back and hit a DDT. Adams with a tilt a whirl back breaker on Walker and he tags. Clark with the meltdown but the pin is broken up by Warrior. Double shoulder block on Walker and then they hit him with high times for the pin in 4.50
More terrible bantering from Madden and Disco and then we go to Terry Taylor with Puppet and grabs the mic from Terry and says his goal in life is to destroy every midget in the world. Dancing girls.
Puppet vs. Teo – Falls Count Anywhere Match
Puppet attacks Teo on the ramp and hits him with a suplex. Teo puts a trash can over Puppet’s head and blasts him with a chair a few times. Teo jumps off the top rope and splashes Puppet on the floor. It only gets a 2 count. Teo goes for a cross body but Puppet catches him with a powerslam. Puppet with a jack hammer for 2. Sideslam gets 2. Teo goes for a tilt a whirl head scissor but Puppet blocks it and goes into a boston crab variation. Puppet goes outside to get a garbage can but Teo cuts him off on the way back in the ring. Teo with ten punches in the corner and then goes for a rana but it’s blocked into a power bomb by Puppet. Puppet goes for a corner whip into the garbage can but Teo reverses it and Puppet its the can. Teo goes up top but misses a swanton bomb. They go to the ramp and Puppet pulls out a bag of thumb tacks. Puppet hits an F5 on the tacks for the win in 7.38. These guys actually tried to put on a serious match but the commentators just made midget jokes the whole fucking time killing everything these guys were trying to do.
Scott Steiner comes out and throws Puppet and Tio. Steiner rambles on the mic about sex and Bret Hart not putting him in the title match. Steiner says he is going to kick someones ass. Steiner goes over to Disco and throws him into the ring. Open challenge excepted. No ref in the ring so not an official match. Steiner hits a over head belly to belly. Disco actually fighting back a tiny bit instead of just getting his ass handed to him like he should be. Another belly to belly followed by a clothesline and elbow drop. Super overhead belly to belly and steiner recliner.
International Cruiserweight Championship Psicosis vs. Juventud Guererra vs. Eddy Guerrero, ref Mark Johnson
I’m pretty sure the two belts the company has are the same which means they probably just share it. First pinfall wins. Juvy hits Psicosis with a tilt a whirl suplex. Eddy back drops Juvy to the floor and follows and Psicosis dives onto them. Back in the ring Psicosis with a sit out gordsbuster for 2. Juvy with a pump handle sit out face buster but Eddy breaks up the pin. Psicosis comes back on Eddy but Juvy quickly cuts him off. Juvy comes off the top with a missile drop kick and all three men are down in the ring. Things slow down a bit as it turns more into a fight then a wrestling match. Eddy gets double suplexed to the floor from the ring. Juvy misses a corner charge. Eddy gets bent over in the ring and Juvy and Psicosis go to drop kick each side of his head but Eddy moves. All three men end up on the top rope and Juvy hits Eddy with a superplex. The champ comes off the top with a leg drop to both men. He gets a 2 count on everybody. Psicosis with a power bomb and then he goes for a super rana. Eddy blocks it and Psicosis crashes to the mat. Eddy with a frog splash for the win and title in 12.45. Eddy gets on the mic and talks about how his life has been terrible recently but tonight starts his comeback. Jerry Lynn makes a surprise appearance fresh off his stint in the WWF. Lynn says he bets Eddy got all his breaks in the business because of his name. Lynn says the people are here to be entertained not listen to his bitching. Eddy nails Lynn but then turns his back and gets attacked. Eddy though takes control and they fight to the floor. Back in the ring though Lynn nails Eddy with the belt and hits a spike piledriver on it.

Storm throws a chair at Sabu and he falls to the floor. DDT on the floor by Storm. Sabu then puts Storm on the table which is angled on the guardrail. Fun match with a surprise outcome.
Lodi and Lenny do some very stupid “gay” skit.
Mark Madden is in the ring and he brings out Larry Z. Larry challenges Vince McMahon to a fight. He rants about how 20 years ago Vince screwed him. Larry calls the TALLER Chris Jericho to short to be a superstar and Living Legend.
Lenny & Lodi vs. Rick Steiner & Ernest Miller, ref Mark Johnson
Miller says if the lose he will kiss Madden’s fat ass. Steiner hammers Lenny then tags Miller who lands a kick and gets the win in .57. Miller goes after Madden. Bully.
Champion Jeff Jarrett vs. Brian Christopher
Christopher says he is there to dance and kick Jarrett’s ass. Jeff with some hip tosses to start. Christopher sends Jeff to the floor with a clothesline and then hits a baseball slide. Back in the ring Christopher comes off the second rope with a drop kick. Sunset flip gets 2. Neckbreaker for another 2. They go to the outside and fight into the crowd. Christopher goes up top and hits a leg drop a new ref comes in and makes a 2 count but the original ref is up and pulls him out of the ring. They argue and Jeff nails Christopher with the guitar. The original ref makes a 2 count but gets pulled out off the ring. Borash tells us they are out of time as the refs now fight in the ring. Jeff gets the belt but misses and Christopher goes for a piledriver on it. Jeff goes low hits the stroke on the belt and gets the pin in 13.18. Since when do refs stop each other from making a three count? What the fuck was that finish.
Highlight package of the PPV closes things out.
My thoughts on the show…
The two cruiserweight matches were good as was the Sabu/Storm match. The midget match I also liked but the commentators really killed it. A really stupid finish to the main event ruined what was otherwise a decent enough match. Overall a much better show than the first one.
