Obviously there has been a lot of speculation about Roode and Young possibly going to WWE but nothing has been confirmed yet. We will keep you updated.

Reports surfaced last week that soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Sting had decided to retire. However, according to the man himself, he hasn’t officially retired.

Before Sting was driven off, the person filming asked about Hogan’s lawsuit, which Sting refused to comment on.

Updated: Crazy Max Forums – Full Go

For those curious, the posting issues at Crazy Max Forums has been resolved and everything should be back to normal. Thank you to the community for your patience while we got things back in order.

You can find the original post below which elaborates on the situation.

————————————————

We’d like to thank those who brought it to our attention this weekend that Crazy Max Forums is having some posting issues. Please know that we are aware of the issues and there are no problems with the Forum database. However, it does appear there was a Spam breach on Saturday the 19th, wherein a file was sending out spam from an @crazymax.org email address. Because of this, the Web Hosting company locked down the folder where the problem initiated. As you may guess, that folder being locked has caused some issues with the Message Board.

We are currently working with the Web Hosting company to resolve the issue and hope to have the Forums back to full function tonight, or tomorrow. In the mean time, rather than turn the board offline, we have decided to leave the board up and running so that users may access posts for reading.

We want to thank you once again for your patience, and while this may be a little inconvenience, we care about board security for everyone and we are working to have this problem resolved and back to normal ASAP.

Please pass this link along to any members who have inquired about the board issues.

Thanks!

0

Bobby Roode and Eric Young finished up with TNA at last night’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando. The former TNA World Heavyweight Champions both requested their releases, according to PWInsider. Young had been negotiating a new deal but made the decision to ask for his release.

Both wrestlers are now free agents.

TNA issued the following statement in response to the report:

Impact Wrestling has come to terms on the release of veteran wrestlers Bobby Roode and Eric Young (Jeremy Fritz). Bobby and Eric have been valuable members of The Impact Roster since 2004 and we wish them nothing but the best in their careers going forward.

Bobby had this to say earlier today, “To the guys and girls I got to work with for the past 12 years, Impact Wrestling, the office and everyone associated with me getting to live this dream, I say thank you. It is time for me to move on to the next chapter in my life. This has been amazing.”

Eric Young had this to say. “Thank you. Thank you to everyone who watched me for the past 12 years. Thank you to Impact Wrestling. I wish everyone here nothing but the best going forward.”

Executive Vice President of Creative and Television, John Gaburick added, “Bobby and Eric are true professionals. We salute them for the 12 years they gave TNA.

With a Superstar roster including EC3, James Storm, Drew Galloway, Jeff and Matt Hardy, “The Destroyer” Bobby Lashley, Gail Kim, The Wolves, Maria Kanellis-Bennett and “The Miracle” Mike Bennett we couldn’t be more excited about showcasing the finest wrestling in the world for the Impact fans.”

Hulk Hogan Wins $115 Million In Gawker Case, Both Parties Respond

0

Hulk Hogan didn’t no-sell Gawker, but he still won. To the tune of an astounding $115 million.

The WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE and WCW Champion won the outstanding sum as a Florida jury sided with him in his suit against the media company, which released a trailer of a sex tape recorded without his knowledge. Hogan was awarded $55 million for economic injuries, and another $60 million for emotional distress. He could receive more money with punitive damages.

The video, recorded by controversial longtime friend Bubba The Love Sponge, was allegedly stolen from him by “Spice Boy” Matt Lloyd, who was an employee of Bubba’s show for years. Hogan first gained knowledge of the tape in 2012 during the build for TNA Bound For Glory.

Hogan was fired from WWE and his role as a judge on WWE Tough Enough last summer after racially charged comments in relation to the case came to light. Gawker alleged that Hogan only filed a lawsuit against them to prevent the racial statements from being released.

The trial was an interesting one, with Hogan calling TNA a “small company,” Linda Hogan firing back at Hulk for statments made in testimony, and a Gawker editor saying that the limit for celebrity sex tapes being ‘newsworthy’ was four-year olds.

Hogan was seeking $100 million.

– As noted, Hulk Hogan defeated Gawker in court today and was awarded $115 million, $15 million more than he was seeking. Hogan sued the website in 2012 for publishing portions of a sex tape that was recorded without his knowledge. Gawker argued that they were protected by the First Amendment because the video was newsworthy. Gawker founder Nick Denton responded to the verdict with the statement below, and said that they would be appealing the decision:

Given key evidence and the most important witnesses were both improperly withheld from the jury, we all knew the appeals court will need to resolve the case. I want to thank our lawyers for their outstanding work and am confident that we would have prevailed at trial if we had been allowed to present the full case to the jury. That’s why we feel very positive about the appeal that we have already begun preparing, as we expect to win the case ultimately.
