– While former NXT Diva Kendall Skye has indicated that she asked for her WWE release, sources believe that the company cut her.

– There’s a feeling that Kevin Steen may debut on the next set of NXT TV tapings. With all the top talents debuting at NXT, officials may be staggering them so they can maximize each one.

– Regarding former WWE announcer Josh Mathews in TNA, there’s talk that he may start on TV as an announcer for TNA if and when they begin on a new network in 2015. It’s also possible that he’s introduced in a backstage segment while TNA is still on Spike TV. Mathews is free to do what he wants as his non-compete clause with WWE is over.

– Based on what was taped at last week’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings, the November 26th, December 3rd, December 10th and December 17th episodes could end up being “Best Of” shows or compilation shows with little, if any, new content.

– AAA officials in Mexico are really high on Alberto Del Rio as their top guy right now. Del Rio presents himself well as the face of the company and has done great in media interviews.

– Below are some recent WWE NXT paid attendance figures. It’s said that the rest of the crowds are often made up of friends of the NXT wrestlers and other local wrestlers.

* September 12th in Winter Park, FL for TV tapings drew a sellout of 400
* September 13th in Starke, FL drew 120 fans

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

– Former WCW and WWE star Juventud Guerrera is now working as a DJ in Mexico and is looking to run wrestling shows where he can perform as a DJ before the show.

– WWE Superstars Los Matadores will be working the WWC 41st anniversary show in Puerto Rico on October 25th. They will face tag team champions Ash & William De La Vega. The Colons have a clause in their WWE contracts that allow them to work certain WWC events. Alberto Del Rio will also be working that event against Ray Gonzalez.

– In a correction from last week, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan’s injury from the recent fall at his home is a broken femur, not a broken hip. Heenan had surgery and has been doing rehab since being released from the hospital.

– We noted in last week’s TNA Impact Wrestling spoilers that Samoa Joe had to vacate the X Division Title because he wasn’t medically cleared to compete.
Word is that Joe suffered some kind of shoulder injury. The belief is that he will not be 100% for Bound For Glory but will be healthy enough to wrestle regardless.

Joe’s injury came either in the September 16th match against Austin Aries or the September 17th match against Gunner.
