The Gilberts attack Cactus and keep other wrestlers from getting into the ring. Bam Bam Bigelow comes down and makes the save and he and Cactus fight off Eddie and Doug.
My thoughts on the show…
This show is must see for the three Cactus Gilbert matches. These guys worked their asses off. My favorite was the Stretcher Match. The bottle breaking over the head of Cactus was sick. By the time they got to the cage match you could tell they tired as they slowed it down a lot but thats to be expected after what they went through and the cage match was still good. A few matches took place but are not on this tape including JT Smith winning the TWA Title from DC Drake in a 6 Man Elimination Match.
Just noticed that back at Spring Spectacular 2 on May 18th Johnny Hotbody and Larry Winters beat Jimmy Jannetty and Rockin’ Rebel to become the first ever TWA Tag Team Champions.
