* The Real AmericansĀ over R-Truth and Xavier Woods when Fandango & Summer Rae caused a distraction by dancing on the stage.
* Alberto Del Rio over Justin Gabriel in a short match. Following the match Del Rio cuts a promo on Batista’s return. A video of Batista aired prior to the Del Rio match and Alberto acted hot over it. Looks like they’re setting up a foil for Batista’s Raw return on January 20.
Renee Young interviews Fandango about his earlier antics.
* The WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust over 3MB members Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. Heath Slater was on commentary for the match.
* WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee over Kaitlyn. Not sure if this was taped for TV or not.
* The Usos battled Rowan & Harper to a double count out. Following the match, Daniel Bryan appeared from the dark and helped the Wyatt Family beat down the Usos. Bray Wyatt joined in, hitting Sister Abigail on one of the Usos.
– Randy Orton interview backstage. Orton wants to address the Authority on Raw since they’re never at Smackdown. š
– MIZ TV with the Big Show. Show is out here to challenge Brock Lesnar to a match! Lesnar shows up on SD, Paul Heyman accepts Show’s challenge on behalf of Brock. The two will meet at the ROYAL RUMBLE!
* Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara & Los Matadores over The Real Americans, Ryback & Curtis Axel. So now we’ve upgraded from not just 6-Mans on every show, but 8-Mans as well. Mysterio with the 619 for the win on Swagger.
* WWE World Champion Randy Orton over the IC Champion Big E. Langston with the RKO. A really solid match. Langston isn’t too bad at all. For a guy his size, he’s freakishly agile and good. Now WWE just needs to allow him to develop a personality.
– The Wyatts aren’t done with the Usos. The group call out the Usos. The Usos are scheduled to meet Bray & Bryan on Raw.
* Xavier Woods over Fandango. Quick match, Xavier with a rollup. Summer Rae was the highlight, until Cameron and Naomi beat her down post match.
– Shield out for the main event and cut a promo. Reigns says he beat Punk so he’s the new “Best in the World”. Ambrose claims to have nightmares after Jake Roberts return on Raw. Ambrose says he wants to choke Damien. Rollins talks about the old school, guys like Jake and the New Age Outlaws, and says the Shield are the FUTURE. Rollins says the Shield will take out the Outlaws for good, tonight!
* The Shield (Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose) over CM Punk & The New Age Outlaws. Good match, crowd loved it. Reigns over Billy Gunn with the spear. The Shield took off quickly.
*Ā Post TapingĀ Dark Match: John Cena beat WWE World Champion Randy Orton by DQ. Orton tried to leave the ring, Cena chased him down. Cena made Orton tap with the ref down, so the match continued. Orton nailed Cena with the title belt but Cena kicked out. RKO, Cena kicks out again.Ā Orton feeling threatened, did his usual low blow causing the dq Ā to get out of the match with the title in tact. These guys had an actual match rather than the usual rushed dark match main events.
