We noted earlier that Triple H’s WrestleMania 31 entrance for his match with Sting this Sunday will feature footage from WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger’s upcoming “Terminator: Genisys” movie.

In an update, word from Santa Clara is that we will get a “full-blown Terminator entrance” from Triple H. Expect to see him in the black leather jacket that Arnold wore in the original Terminator movies with other similar features incorporated into his look.

Why WWE Made Change To Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, WrestleMania Start Times

0

As noted, WWE has moved the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to the WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Pre-show on Sunday. The Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Tag Team Titles with The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro is also still on the pre-show.

F4Wonline.com reports that the change was made due to officials timing out the show. After time was given to the big matches and angles, they apparently had to cut a match from the main card.

While Michael Cole mentioned on WWE Today that the pre-show starts at 6pm EST, that is not the case as it’s still scheduled to begin at 5pm EST. However, Levi’s Stadium confirmed today that the show will start at 3:30pm local time, which is 6:30pm EST, just 30 minutes before the actual four-hour WrestleMania pay-per-view begins. It’s very unlikely that they could get the Fatal 4 Way and the Battle Royal done in 30 minutes. They could move the start time up from 3:30pm local time as gates open at 1:30pm local time, which would be 4:30pm EST, just 30 minutes before they go on the air.

F4Wonline.com noted that they were told that the show was going to begin with the Fatal 4 Way at 6:30pm EST but that is probably going to change. WWE’s official announcement on the Battle Royal change did note that it will take place during the second hour of the pre-show.

As noted, there will be a WWE NXT tournament at WrestleMania 31 Axxess tonight with the winner earning a spot in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Talents confirmed are Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami.

Word going around WWE this week in San Jose is that Neville will likely be winning the tournament and compete in the Battle Royal on Sunday.

There’s also speculation that this could be Neville’s arrival on the main roster. Stay tuned as we will have updates from the tournament tonight.

– In an update from earlier, WWE has confirmed to F4Wonline.com that the first match on the WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Pre-show this Sunday will begin at about 3pm local time, which is 6pm EST. This means that the start time at Levi’s Stadium will be bumped up 30 minutes at least. The confusion earlier is likely due to miscommunication with Levi’s Stadium issuing their press release after WWE made the change to the card. It appears the first hour of the pre-show will be previews and other segments while the second hour will be the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

– We noted earlier this week that WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella took a shot at AJ Lee during a promo on SmackDown. She said:

“I think Brock Lesnar worked more days than you this past year.”

With WWE sometimes editing the Divas promos when they go off-script, it was noted that if the line was left in the promo then it was a scripted line and was done on purpose to take a shot at AJ. For those who missed SmackDown tonight, the line was not edited out.

Huge Change To WrestleMania 31 Card, Andre Memorial Battle Royal Removed From PPV

During their WrestleMania special this evening on the WWE Network, Michael Cole announced that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will now take place on the WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Pre-show along with the Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

No word yet on why the battle royal was moved from the main card to the pre-show but we will keep you updated.

Talk On Roman Reigns Vs. Brock Lesnar, Why WWE Wanted Lesnar On ESPN, Rock Vs. Brock

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

It’s no secret that WWE’s plan all along has been for Roman Reigns to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Title from Brock Lesnar at Sunday’s WrestleMania 31. Whether Reigns is ready for the role and whether it will turn fans against him has become a major question.

Lesnar re-signing with the company this week will likely get him a big babyface reaction from the live crowd at WrestleMania.

There could also be a big angle at the end of the show to set up a future match for Lesnar. We’ve noted how there are several potential WrestleMania 32 opponents for Lesnar but one source close to the situation noted to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that as of now, with Lesnar re-signed, Rock vs. Brock for next year is the planned main event. As always, it was noted that plans could change, especially with The Rock’s busy schedule.

Regarding Lesnar’s announcement on ESPN earlier this week, WWE wanted him to announce the deal to put the WrestleMania main event finish into question.
