Heading into tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view, Roman Reigns is favored to win the WWE Championship match, while John Cena is a heavy favorite in his match with Rusev.

– UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will taking time out of her busy schedule to attend WrestleMania tonight. The UFC fighter turned movie star mentioned on her Instagram that she’ll be going to the event with fellow UFC fighters Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke, and training partner Marina Shafir.
Rousey also appeared at last year’s Summerslam, with her and the other “Four Horsewomen” being taken backstage. The crew helped Stephanie McMahon with her ice bucket challenge video. Baszler also recently appeared for ROH, siding with Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish.
– Former WWE head writer Vince Russo was interviewed by Blake Mitchamore for “Ringside with Blake.” During the interview, Russo talked about Sting facing Triple H at WrestleMania 31 tonight and believes that he’s nervous.
“I guarantee you he is nervous as all hell,” said Russo. “In my days at TNA, I worked closer with Sting than I did anyone else and even at that point in his career he cared about every single detail.”

There has been a feeling within WWE that since the company had WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar make his big announcement on ESPN this week with the whole world watching, it’s a good sign that he will probably retain at WrestleMania 31 tonight.
There was talk this week of making some creative changes for tonight’s main event but we don’t have any changes confirmed. Another reason people within WWE feel that Lesnar is retaining is the fact that Roman Reigns getting the belt will be a bigger issue among fans than it would be if he lost.
WWE still may be able to have Reigns lose but give him a good match that might earn him some respect among the fans that would have been booing him. There’s a feeling now that putting the belt on Reigns this early might be a situation he can’t recover from.

– WWE.com acknowledged that Dolph Ziggler did an improv comedy performance in San Jose with former Superstar John Morrison and Dolph’s brother Ryan, who they did not acknowledge as a former WWE developmental talent and referred to as Nick. There’s a photo of the three on stage at this link.
– Andy Miller sent word that the following matches took place at Axxess yesterday:

– Sheamus appeared in the NXT ring for a Q&A at WrestleMania Axxess yesterday. One fan in attendance noted that Sheamus came out to a huge pop but teased a heel turn. Sheamus said there will be no more laughing and no jokes when he comes back. He also talked about how it was fun knocking Daniel Bryan around. While Sheamus did “heel it up” in the ring, he stayed around and posed with fans and signed autographs on his way out.

– WWE’s website has an interview with former WWE Superstar Gangrel (David Heath) about his longtime friend, 2015 Hall of Famer Rikishi. Gangrel commented on working with Rikishi at their Knox Pro Wrestling School:
“It’s awesome. It’s like working with family. When we train people, we bring them up like family. To be honest, we’re stealing their energy. There are all these young kids with hopes and dreams, while we’re fading to the back. We feed off their energy.”
– In the video below, Hulk Hogan talks with KRON in San Francisco earlier this week and teases surprises for WrestleMania 31 tonight. Hogan was asked if we can expect to see him out there in front of the crowd and he says they have a few “little surprises” planned. There has been speculation among fans that we could see some sort of Hulkamania vs. Axelmania angle with Hogan and Curtis Axel.
– Many people noticed how 2015 WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi did not mention Too Cool partners Scotty 2 Hotty or Brian Christopher in his speech. Scotty went on Twitter and re-tweeted comments from fans about how Rikishi should have mentioned them also. He also tweeted his own comments:
