– ESPN and FOX have both expressed interest in hiring Renee Paquette (Renee Young) to do mainstream sports news reporting for them once her deal with WWE expires. Whether or not Young is entertaining these offers is unclear as of right now.

– The talk going around backstage in WWE among the staff is that Vince McMahon has made it abundantly clear to everyone that WrestleMania absolutely has to sell out next year at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

– The ESPN E:60 piece on NXT, which focuses primarily on Xavier Woods, Corey Graves and Adam Rose, will be replaying on ABC on June 21st at 5pm EST.

Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch Reportedly Very Close To Signing Six-Figure Adult Film Contract

0

We noted earlier in the week via MMA/WWE source Front Row Brian that WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch may have signed a deal to do pornographic movies with the Vivid adult entertainment company.

TMZ Sports reports that Sunny is close to signing a “monster porn contract” worth big bucks. Vivid apparently told TMZ that the two sides have spoken several times and a six-figure offer is on the table for her. The deal would not be a one-time thing as there would be more than one film for her.

Vivid boss Steve Hirsch said:

“After the tremendous success of Chyna, this makes total sense. Hoping we can work it out.”

TMZ notes that the deal is “very close” to being signed and Sunny is prepared to start filming right away.

Scott Hall Incident At Indy Show, DDP Comments, GFW Appearances Cancelled

– As noted, Scott Hall was escorted from an independent wrestling event this past weekend. Hall was asked to leave the “Skate and Surf Festival” in Asbury Park, NJ on Saturday after having a few drinks that were believed to be given to him by band members of the event or one of their runners. Dropkick Murphy headlined that day along with professional wrestling presented by Jersey Championship Wrestling. Hall was fine the next morning and left on an earlier flight to see DDP. He did not attend the second day of the event, and Jake Roberts took his place in a tag team match with Sean “X-Pac” Waltman and Santana Garrett as they defeated the Playas’ Club.

– TMZ caught up with Diamond Dallas Page and asked him about Hall’s latest setback. Page noted that Hall can count on him for support, and that he plans to speak with him soon.

“Scott is going through a life process,” Page said. “He’s stumbled along the way, but he is doing well overall. I’ve got his back. Even Jake ‘The Snake’ has fallen a few times, but he is now one year sober and doing great.”

– We noted yesterday that Global Force Wrestling has removed Hall from their roster page since the incident. Hall was supposed to appear at a Gwinnett Braves MiLB game on June 19th, but that appearance has been cancelled as well: “Our Scott Hall appearance promotion has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. If you purchased a ticket your rep will be in touch.

Ricky from GA and L.O.S. The Butcher contributed to this article.”

WWE Signs Former NWA World Champion, HHH Speak On Samoa Joe Rumors

0

Former ROH booker and NWA World Champion Adam Pearce has been hired by WWE as a full-time coach and producer, according to PWInsider. Pearce will be working out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Pearce has worked as a guest trainer several times in the past but has reportedly just now signed with the company. He was in attendance for a meeting at the Performance Center today.

Over the weekend we noted that Samoa Joe had been accepting independent bookings throughout the remainder of the summer, despite rumors of him possibly moving to NXT. On today’s NXT media conference call, Wrestling Inc. asked Triple H about the possibility of signing Joe to a contract.

“He was here at the Performance Center a month or two ago,” Triple H told us. “We only spoke for about five minutes, and that was mainly exchanging pleasantries.”

Triple H went on to say that he admires Samoa Joe’s work, and that he was impressed with the Performance Center.

Regarding the contract status of Samoa Joe, Triple H said he wasn’t sure if the two sides would end up doing business or not. Many speculated when Samoa Joe’s Ring of Honor dates came to an end recently, that he’d be headed to Orlando to start with NXT. Thus far, that hasn’t materialized.

While not directly in response to the question about Samoa Joe, Triple H later stated that NXT is typically a young man’s game. He mentioned that it’s a lot easier to instill the WWE’s way of running things in someone younger than it was for someone who has been wrestling for most of their life.

Dont forget, Wrestling Inc. will have full, l
