Kidd required 16 staples, 4 screws and a rod to be inserted.<\/p>\n<p>Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that while only 5% of people survive that injury, the vast majority of those who do survive end up as quadriplegics.
