Former WWE Champion and current UFC Fighter CM Punk claims he’s done in the wrestling ring, but that didn’t stop him from posting a few light hearted tweets about wrestling again on Thursday night.<\/p>\n
Newly signed NXT star Samoa Joe is booked to face indy star Johnny Gargano at this weekend’s Absolute Intense Wrestling show in Cleveland, Ohio. AIW co-owner John Thorne posted a tweet joking that he’d cancel Johnny Gargano from the show if CM Punk decided he was willing to come out of retirement to face Samoa Joe at the show.<\/p>\n
Punk replied with a simple “How much?,” Which prompted AIW to post a tweet, again joking that they’d need to crowd source to afford CM Punk, who has been out of the ring since his last WWE appearance at Royal Rumble 2014.<\/p>\n
The two sides went back and forth, in tweets you can see below. CM Punk and Samoa Joe haven’t faced off in nearly ten years, since their time in ROH. As of now, CM Punk continues training at Roufusport in Milwaukee in preparation for his UFC debut.<\/p>\n
