{"id":13835,"date":"2014-09-27T15:00:25","date_gmt":"2014-09-27T19:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crazymax.org\/newsite\/?p=13835"},"modified":"2014-09-27T15:57:34","modified_gmt":"2014-09-27T19:57:34","slug":"the-rock-confirms-another-new-action-movie-role","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crazymax.org\/newsite\/news\/the-rock-confirms-another-new-action-movie-role\/","title":{"rendered":"The Rock Confirms Another New Action Movie Role"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We noted back in June that Dwayne &#8220;The Rock&#8221; Johnson was in talks with Universal to star in a movie of the late Robert Ludlim&#8217;s &#8220;The Janson Directive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Rock confirmed that role on his Twitter tonight and confirmed that Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman will be writing the script.<\/p>\n<p>It was reported in June that The Rock would also be producing the movie.<\/p>\n<p>The book by Ludlim follows a former consular ops agent, Paul Janson, that goes into business as a private security consultant after. The agent leaves the covert ops business after a high number of sanctioned killings. He teams with a sharpshooter and only takes assignments that he believe will help people in need.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote the following on Instagram:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A real pleasure teaming up w\/ Academy Award winning writer, Akiva Goldsman (A BEAUTIFUL MIND) to write THE JANSON DIRECTIVE.
