– WWE NXT star Baron Corbin said to be one of the developmental talents to watch. He defeated Wesley Blake at the May 30th NXT tapings in a dark match but did not compete during the actual tapings. Corbin, real name Tom Pestock, previously played for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals. <\/p>\n
– John Cena reportedly suffered an eye injury during his match with Bray Wyatt at last night’s WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin. According to F4WOnline, a few minutes into the match, Wyatt was head-butting Cena in the corner and either one of the strikes hit Cena in the eye or some of Wyatt’s hair whipped him in the eye. Cena immediately let the referee know he was hurt, leading to the dreaded “X” symbol. Two trainers came out and checked on Cena. The rest of the match was spent protecting him because the eye was closed.<\/p>\n
– Also, Adam Rose was busted open during a match with Heath Slater. He suffered a pretty good cut above his right eye, and the referee put on rubber gloves to tend to Rose while trainers came out to clean up the blood. <\/p>\n
– Regarding WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan being injured, it’s said that Vince McMahon has been making all of the decisions regarding the angles they’re doing with Bryan and the title.
