* Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake vs. The Genius ended in a double disqualification. With the referee down, Beefcake put the Genius to sleep. Without an official, the Barber grabbed his scissors to cut on the Genius’ hair. This brought out Mr. Perfect who attacked Brutus and caused the referee to call for the dual DQ for the scissors AND Hennig’s interference. (11:07)
* Submission Match: “Rugged” Ronnie Garvin defeated Greg “The Hammer” Valentine (w/Jimmy Hart) in a stiff battle by forcing the Hammer to submit to the Scorpion Death Lock. (16:55)
* The Brother Love Show w/Sensational Sherri & Sweet Sapphire. This interview segment led to a mixed brawl between Sherri, Sapphire, and their charges, The Macho King & Dusty Rhodes respectively. This would spark the beginning of the “Royalty vs. Peasant” feud between the two sides. The segment ended with Sapphire slapping Brother Love and Dusty disposing of Love through the ropes.
* “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan defeated Big Boss Man (w/Slick) via Disqualification when the Boss Man was caught using the nightstick on Duggan. (10:26)
* Hulk Hogan won the 30-Man Royal Rumble by last eliminating Mr. Perfect. Other participants included… “The Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase, Koko B.
