– Tonight’s WWE Main Event opens up with Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton on commentary. We go to the ring and out comes WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos.
The Usos talk about their open challenge and say they want to be known as one of the best damn tag teams in WWE history. They plug the WWE Network and we get a “$9.99” chant from the crowd. They get ready for their challenge and out comes Ryback and Curtis Axel. They come to the ring and accept the challenge. Ryback says playtime is over and so are they. Rob Van Dam’s music interrupts Ryback and he comes to the ring. Ryback calls him a big dummy and a singlet stealer. Ryback reminds him he needs a partner. RVD introduces his partner and out comes WWE United States Champion Sheamus. Kane comes out and says there will now be a Triple Threat for the titles. He quickly leaves.
– We get a look at Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena.
– We come back and Seth Rollins is walking backstage. Back to commercial.
Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston
Back from the break and out comes Seth Rollins. Kofi Kingston is out next with his normal gimmick and no mention of the stable with Xavier Woods and Big E.
The bell rings and Rollins takes Kofi to the corner. Kofi fights out but runs into a kick. Rollins takes back control and beats Kofi on the mat. Rollins tosses Kofi across the ring and steps on the back of his head. Rollins chokes Kofi on the ropes now. Rollins with a neckbreaker and a 2 count. Rollins keeps control and beats Kofi back to the mat. Kofi makes a comeback but Rollins cuts him off again. Rollins ends up pulling Kofi from the apron and slamming him on the barrier. We go to commercials.
Back from the break and Rollins nails a splash before applying a body scissors on the mat. Kofi finally makes another comeback and hits the Boom Drop. Rollins dodges Trouble In Paradise. Kofi nails a crossbody for a close 2 count. Rollins with a cheap shot. Kofi leaps at him but Rollins drops him face first into the turnbuckle. Rollins with another 2 count. Kofi counters a powerbomb and sends Rollins into the corner for a 2 count. Kofi nails SOS for another close 2 count. Rollins comes back but gets crotched on the top. Rollins blocks a superplex and powerbombs Kofi in the opposite corner. Rollins with a curb stomp for the win.

– Renee Young is backstage with RVD and Sheamus. RVD says it’s been a while since we saw him with some gold. He says Sheamus actually approached him about teaming up. Sheamus says that’s true and it just made perfect sense to him.
– We go to commercials and come back to a look at Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon.
WWE Tag Team Title Match: Ryback & Curtis Axel vs. Sheamus & Rob Van Dam vs. The Usos
We go to the ring and out comes WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and we get formal ring introductions from Eden. Ryback starts things off with Jimmy Uso. Ryback takes Uso down and slaps him in the back of the head. Uso fires back with a huge right hand and another. Ryback comes back but runs into a kick. Uso with a 1 count. Jey Uso tags in for some double teaming. Ryback tags Sheamus in. Sheamus decks him on the way in. Sheamus goes at it with Uso now. Uso with a roll up for 2. Ryback tags himself in off Uso and unloads on Sheamus. RVD tags himself in. Sheamus hits the rolling senton on Ryback and RVD follows with Rolling Thunder for a 2 count. Fans chant for RVD now. He knocks Axel off the apron. RVD leaps out on the floor, taking out Ryback and Axel. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Ryback is going at it with Sheamus. Axel tags in and keeps the attack on Sheamus. Ryback comes back in and hits a big spinebuster for a 2 count. RVD ends up coming in and unloading on Axel. RVD misses a crossbody but one of the Usos tagged himself in. Uso hits a crossbody and 2 count on Axel. Uso unloads on Axel and hits a big kick to the head. Uso with a corkscrew from the corner for a 2 count. Sheamus takes Ryback over the top. Jey runs the ropes and leaps out onto them. Axel rolls Jimmy up for 2. Jimmy with a big Samoan Drop on Axel for a close 2 count. Uso goes to the top but Axel stops him. RVD tags himself in and takes out Axel with a thrust kick. RVD with a close 2 count. Sheamus hits Ryback with a Brogue. Jey sends Sheamus out. Axel with a knee to Jey to send him to the floor. RVD takes out Axel. RVD and Axel fight on the top now. RVD nails a Frogsplash but Jimmy tagged himself in off Axel. Jimmy hits a splash on RVD for the win.

– After the match, The Usos shake hands with Sheamus and RVD before celebrating as Main Event goes off the air.
