– WWE made sure of not saying Randy Orton would face the “loser” of John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose at Hell In a Cell. WWE did not want it to seem like Orton and Cena were in the “loser’s match.”
There were lots of changes made to Monday’s WWE RAW from Atlanta and the script was re-written many times.
As of Monday morning, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE was still looking to do the John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose on next week’s RAW but plans were changed and the match was moved to last night. Regarding the changes for Hell In a Cell, WWE wanted matches directly advertised, instead of ambiguous matches. Orton’s “challenge” was already written into the script before Cena vs. Ambrose was moved to last night.
There was also a segment with The Bella Twins nixed from RAW last night. This was going to lead to their Hell In a Cell match but that obviously didn’t happen. The segment with The Bella Twins that did not air on RAW is now on WWE.com. Nikki says she talked to Stephanie McMahon and the loser of their match at WWE Hell In a Cell will be the winner’s “b—h” for the next month.
