WWE CFO George Barrios talked about the WWE Network and WWE’s future business at the Wells Fargo Conference on November 12th. Barrios is still talking about the Network reaching between 2 million and 4 million subscribers with steady growth.

Barrios also revealed that WWE research shows shorter events like Slam City are being watched more on mobile devices while longer events like pay-per-view shows are being watched more on TV sets. He noted that WWE Network is looking at adding more short-form content.

Barrios was asked about most-watched programming and noted that pay-per-view shows are by far the most-watched and the next tier down is Main Event, followed by the live NXT specials and the RAW pre-show. Next would be Legends House and Monday Night War.

There’s been a lot of talk since the Network launched about account password sharing. Barrios was asked about that and how WWE will stop it. He replied, “You don’t.” Barrios said if WWE saw a lot of abuse with password sharing, they might take action but they are not closing accounts for that reason.
