WWC Superestrellas 1/4/14 Results
El Leon Apolo vs El Bronco #1 (Lockout 2013). Match joined in progress with Bronco locking in a nerve hold on Apolo. Apolo made a comeback and the match spilled onto the floor. Both guys got back in the ring. Apolo rolled up Bronco for the win. Match wasn’t much.
Chicano vs Manu (Lockout 2013). This was supposed to be a tag team match with Chicano teaming with Xix Xavant vs Sons of Samoa. SoS took out Xavant before the match started and it became a singles match. Manu nailed Chicano with a superkick and missed a splash from the top rope. Chicano hit a senton bomb from the top rope to win the match. A really good match.
Carlos Colon vs Invader #1 Ambulance Match (Lockout 2013). This was the main event. Match started with Colon taking it to Invader early. Invader made a comeback with his usual heel tactics, punch, kick, etc. Invader got good heel heat by escaping the ring. Colon followed and they started brawling on the floor. Invader threw Colon in the ambulance and then started gloating around the ringside area. Colon wasn’t done yet. Colon escaped the ambulance and brought Invader back into the ring. Invader grabbed a chair from ringside but Colon got it and used it on Invader. Colon used his figure four leglock but Invader refused to tap. Match again spilled onto the floor and Invader hit his heart punch that knocked out Carlos. While Colon was laying on the floor Invader hit another heart punch. Colon was loaded into the ambulance and Invader #1 was declared the winner. Match was just ok. These guys are in their mid sixties so what can we really ask for.
The last segment of the show was just a preview and promos for the upcoming “Euphoria” event.
