– Dave Meltzer noted on last night’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that the idea for the King of the Ring tournament was for it to apparently be a several week deal, with the first night being on the WWE Network.
– WE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan has been pulled from all WWE advertising for upcoming TV events and live events through the end of June. Regarding Bryan not being at Extreme Rules on Sunday, PWInsider noted that WWE made the decision on Friday for him to stay home.
We noted earlier that WWE pulled Daniel Bryan from this week’s television tapings over the weekend, although Bryan remained advertised for this weekend’s live events in New York and Canada.
WWE has removed Bryan from this weekend’s live events, as well as all live events through the end of June. Bryan is advertised for live events again starting with the June 28th live event in Reading, PA.
