Ryan Bader turned back the upset bid of Ovince St. Preux Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 47, scoring his third consecutive win via decision in Bangor, Maine.

Bader dominated the former Tennessee Volunteer football player, scoring takedown after takedown. OSP was never able to get his submission game going, as “Darth” constantly took him to the canvas.

In other action, Ross Pearson finished Gray Maynard in the second round, as did Tim Boetsch over Brad Tavares. Alan Jouban, Shawn Jordan and Thiago Tavares all scored main card wins, as well.

Jouban and Seth Baczynski were given $50,000 each for the “Fight of the Night,” while Thiago Tavares and Boetsch scored “Performance of the Night” honors.
