There was a rumor at last week’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA that Austin Aries could be departing the company as his contract is expiring.
We don’t know exactly when Aries’ contract expires but it was reported in the summer that Aries not being advertised for the 2015 UK tour was likely a sign that his deal was expiring before the year is over.
Aries tweeted the following after last week’s tapings, adding to speculation that his deal may be expiring:
“Much love to my entire @IMPACTWRESTLING family. We all busted our ass and put our bodies on the line with passion and pride. Thank you.”
– F4WOnline recently reported that TNA may announce a new TV deal this week. As noted earlier, there are reportedly four networks interested in picking up TNA, including WGN America and Velocity. Spike TV is not one of the four.
