– Jeff Hardy, as Willow, worked Friday night’s TNA live event in Concord, North Carolina but did not work last night’s show in Winston Salem, NC. Samoa Joe also worked last night’s show in Winston Salem, defeating Magnus in a 2 of 3 Falls match.
– The April 17th episode of TNA’s Impact Wrestling, which did not crack the top 100 shows on cable, drew 1,010,000 viewers. This is down from the previous week’s 1,415,000 viewers. This means that viewership was down 29% from last week’s episode. It was the least watched episode since the March 20th show, which drew 997,000 viewers. It was also the second lowest audience for a non-holiday episode going back over a year to the start of 2013.

– Regarding last weekend’s TNA tapings where new stars were brought in and a few familiar faces returned, a lot of the current TNA stars were happy to see new people come in but some of the current stars weren’t happy about putting over guys who aren’t with the company at the “Xtravaganza” One Night Only taping. The feeling was that it made no sense to be losing to the guys who weren’t signed with TNA.

– Samoa Joe returned to action at this weekend’s TNA live events. He defeated James Storm in a 2 of 3 Falls match at the TNA live event in Concord, North Carolina on Friday night.
– You may have noticed Jeff Jarrett posting photos with several wrestlers on his Global Force Wrestling Twitter account. TNA talents were told not to take any photos with Jeff or Karen Jarrett, particularly if they are contracted talents. Apparently Jeff taking photos with some of the talents has caused heat from TNA management.
