We noted before that WWE may induct Ray “The Crippler” Stevens into the WWE Hall of Fame this year due to his history in the area and that Pat Patterson may do the induction.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Patterson apparently is pushing for Stevens to be inducted because Stevens was the biggest star to ever work Northern California in the territory days. Patterson and Stevens spent several years as a top heel tag team, The Blond Bombers.
Stevens passed away on May 5th, 1996 from a heart attack but his children still live in Northern California, so they could be there to accept the honor.
