WWE officials made the decision to bring back the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view for a WWE Network exclusive event within the last few days. Talents backstage at last night’s RAW were surprised to hear the announcement.
One of the reasons WWE did away with the Chamber was due to the lack of arenas that would allow the set up of the heavy Chamber when renovations to older arenas made it impossible for them to handle the structure. The American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas has not had renovations done that would prevent the Chamber from being assembled so it will be able to handle the structure.
WWE will be running a live event that same night, May 31st, in Greenville, South Carolina. King Barrett, Rusev and John Cena are advertised for that event but the card is subject to change.
– It looks like we could be getting a match with The Prime Time Players vs. The New Age Outlaws. Billy Gunn tweeted the following tonight after Darren Young and Titus O’Neil did an impersonation of The Outlaws on RAW:
