In a dark match before the taping, Alexander Rusev (w/Lana) defeated Dolph Ziggler with the Camel Clutch. Just, wow.
Smackdown Spoilers from Ontario, California to air on 2-14-14
* In a big 6-Man Tag, The Shield defeat Sheamus, Christian & Daniel Bryan, after Reigns hit Sheamus with a spear and Ambrose covered for the win.
– During a backstage promo with Zeb Colter sucking up to Vickie Guerrero and asking her to be his Valentine, Vickie announces that we will see Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger vs. Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston in a match to determine the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Title currently worn by Big E Langston.
* Jack Swagger defeated Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry & Kofi Kingston in a 4-Way match to become the #1 contender to the IC title. Big E on commentary. Swagger wins with the Patriot Lock on Kingston. Being a heel it makes sense, but he’s the least interesting of the 4 to me.
* Total Divas’ Eva Marie defeated Alicia Fox. This match was described as being so awful that it’s highly unlikely it will make it to air.
* Goldust, Cody Rhodes & The Usos defeated WWE Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws, Ryback & Curtis Axel in 8-Man tag team action. The Usos pinned one of the tag champs, so the build continues for an Usos title match in the near future, likely at the Chamber PPV.
* Darren Young defeated Damien Sandow with a school boy. Sad. Titus O’Neil on commentary. Young has a new theme, after the match Titus O’Neil attacked Young but Darren fought him off and tore the suit off of Titus.
* The Miz defeated Fandango (w/Summer Rae) thanks to distractions from Santino & Emma, when Emma gets into a catfight with Summer Rae. I guess the Miz needs help by a guy he mocked, to beat a guy he mocked.
– At some point during the taping there was a Bad News Barrett segment. Barrett is out with the bad news that American women will eat too much candy Friday wake up and look in the mirror and not be happy.
* Cesaro defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton in a non-title match. Cesaro pins Orton CLEAN with the Neutralizer. Orton is now 1-3 against his Chamber opponents, leaving poor Christian the only one defeated.
