– Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson made an appearance on a recent edition of “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” You can see part of the interview in the video above, courtesy of CBS.

Jackson is set to fight next Saturday night at Bellator 120 against Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in the season 10 light heavyweight tournament final. The winner becomes the next contender to the Bellator 205-pound belt and earns $10,000 for winning the tourney.

The 35-year-old Jackson (34-11) has won his first two fights in Bellator after having his contract expire from the UFC in 2013. He lost three straight to conclude his inside the Octagon, falling to UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, Ryan Bader and recent contender Glover Teixeira.

Bellator 120 will be the first pay-per-view hosted by the promotion. The main event is set to feature lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez against Michael Chandler.

– The UFC has looked to the light heavyweight ranks to find a suitable opponent for Stipe Miocic at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale, tabbing Fabio Maldonado. Junior dos Santos was scheduled to face Miocic, but an injury forced him out. News of the fight was first reported by Combate.

Maldonado (21-6) has scored three consecutive victories at 205 pounds, improving to 4-3 overall inside the Octagon. Earlier this year, he defeated Gian Villante. Miocic (11-1) is coming off back-to-back wins, including a decision victory over Roy Nelson.

“Honestly just happy the UFC got me a fight and I can’t wait to get to Brazil to put on a show for the fans I’ve been hearing so much about,” Miocic wrote on Twitter.

– Sarah Kaufman, a former Strikeforce women’s champion and contender in the UFC’s bantamweight division, escaped a car accident without serious injury to herself over the weekend. Her vehicle, though, was not as lucky.

Kaufman’s car was hit by another car that ran a red light. She posted a photo of the damage, along with the comment “Running red lights is NOT COOL! Now I need a new car.” Kaufman is pushing for a potential fight later this year at UFC 174 in Canada against Miesha Tate.
