It’s been reported that WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler has suffered his second concussion within a year as a part of last night’s Superstars Taping. Ziggler was working a match with Ryback, and it’s believed Dolph took a stiff clothesline which caused the concussion.

Ziggler suffered a concussion last Spring courtesy of a stiff kick to the head from Alberto Del Rio and it immediately haulted Ziggler’s World Title run. It should also be noted that it took Dolph quite some time to return after his last concussion, citing headaches among other thing. We have no idea what this could mean this time around, but Ziggler will remain out of action until he can past concussion tests.

UPDATE: A follow up to the initial post above… WWE physician Chris Amann updated the status of Ziggler’s health in a new article published on the official WWE website. Amann stated “He does, in fact, have a concussion. His symptoms are starting to improve a little bit today. He will be seeing a neuropsychologist in Pittsburgh for further evaluation, and then his status will be day-to-day as his symptoms improve.”

According to readers in the neuro field, Ziggler visiting a neuropsychologist is not a good thing in the slightest. Its believe Ziggler has sustained a serious concussion. As stated before, Ziggler sustained a concussion that kept him out of action fro some time in 2013, this could be far worse given it’s the second within a year. We wish all the best to Dolph Ziggler on his road to recovery.
