ECW highlight video with “Little Drummer Boy” playing. Clips from Holiday Hell are shown. Nice to actually see some of the action.

Opening video.

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show and brings out his color commentator for the night Santa Claus. Fans know what’s up and immediately chant for 911. Santa throws out some presents until 911 and Paul E. Dangerously come out and Santa gets chokeslammed. The Pitbulls hit the ring and we get right into our first match.

Pitbulls (w/ Jason) vs. 911 (w/ Paul E Dangerously), ref John Finnegan
Suplex by the Pitbulls. Fans chant “911” as they want a double chokeslam to end this quickly. Pitbull 2 with a slam and then he press Pitbull 1 up and drops him on 911. 911 fights back and goes for a chokeslam on Pitbull 2. Jason breaks it up. 911 turns his attention to Jason and it allows the Pitbulls to get him with a double chokeslam. Almost 3. Another big “911” chant. Chokeslam to Jason from the apron into the ring. 911 breaks through a double clothesline hits a double chokeslam and gets the pin in 2.56.

At the next Arena show on January 7th Taz, Sabu and 911 take on Tag Team Champions Public Enemy, Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit in a Handicap Anything Goes Match.

Joey tells us that a bunch of new markets have picked up TV. Woman says that on the 14th and 16th of January ECW is hitting Florida and Sandman will take on Cactus Jack.

In the locker room Bad Breed make fun of the Pitbulls for losing to just one guy. Pitbulls attack and the teams are pulled apart.

We go back to last week and see everything that happened with Cactus Jack, Sandman, “Ironman” Tommy Cairo and Tommy Dreamer. All of this leads us to our main event tonight.

“Ironman” Tommy Cairo (w/ “Virgin Princess” Angel) & Sandman (w/ Woman) vs. Tommy Dreamer & Cactus Jack, ref John Finnegan
Cairo gets 3 minutes for his entrance. I expect that to mean Sandman gets 15. Only five for his entrance but then we also cut to commercial and skipped ahead to Jack before Sandman was actually introduced so that could have been another minute or two. Cactus and Dreamer hit the ring and go after their enemies. Cactus with lots of weapon shots. Dreamer puts on a goalie mask and headbutts Cairo. Cairo goes low. Cactus nails Sandman with a chair a few times. Dreamer back drops Cactus onto Sandman and Cairo. Dreamer dives next but goes splat. Sandman with a chair to Cactus. Sandman with a flying back elbow in the ring. Jack goes to the floor to check on Dreamer. Sandman with a suplex. Sandman with a leg drop off the top. Dreamer in the ring now and he hits a low blow on Cairo. Sandman suplexes a table onto Cactus. Sandman slams Jack on the floor. They all brawl on the floor. Back into the ring and it becomes an actual tag match with Dreamer and Sandman in the ring. Sandman with a side slam and body slam. He goes up and drops a leg. Piledriver spikes Dreamer for 2 but Cactus breaks it up. All four brawl in the ring. Cairo picks up Jack but Cactus fights out and hits a DDT for the win in 9.17. The fight continues after the match. Dreamer goes after Sandman with the cane. Woman jumps on him so he goes after her but she throws Angel in the way and leaves. Jack gets on the mic and tells Tommy not to do Dreamer gives Cactus the can and then he nails her with it himself.

Styles talks about the upcoming ECW events. Styles says that Steve Richards has become obsessed with Johnny Polo. Joey says according to Richards Polo has left the wrestling industry and has become the official groupie tester of Pearl Jam. Recently Richards dressed as Scotty Flamingo and went by the name Steve Flamingo. We see the end of this match against Dan Harris from December 16 at the Fieldhouse in Hamburg, Pa.

PE are at Rockefeller Center and they steal stuff. “Flyboy” Rocco Roc even convokes Johnny Grunge to steal the tree. Ha….Ha.

My thoughts on the show…
We got some Holiday Hell stuff which was nice. The tag match was decent enough. I love 911 but any match that is more then just a chokeslam is painful to watch. Gearing up for Raven’s debut which should bring some good things with it.

Last week 911 slammed Santa and then beat the Pitbulls in a handicap match. After the match the Pitbulls and Bad Breed brawled in the locker room.

Opening video.

Joey Styles welcomes us to the last episode of ECW for 1994. Joey bring in Jason who says that he proposes a match with the Pitbulls and Bad Breed where the losing team must split up forever. We go to a training video of the Pitbulls where who leather clad girls try to act scary like lady vampires. The Pitbulls are standing on top of cars and yelling. How the fuck is this training? They say how they are coming after Bad Breed and whip the cars with their chains.

Joey says Steve Richards has told him Johnny Polo is now the roadie for Stone Temple Pilots

Stevie The Body vs. JT Smith, ref Jim Molineaux
Smith ducks a clothesline and hits a dropkick. Stevie to the floor. Smith pulls Stevie’s jacket over his head and pounds on him. Weird cut to the fans makes me thing we have an edit. Smith on top and Richards goes to the floor dazed. Smith brings him in the hard way with a slingshot. Smith with some awful “karate” kicks. Smith goes for a german but Stevie goes low. Dropkick but Smith hangs onto the ropes. Smith drop kicks Stevie off the top rope and to the floor. Smith with a tiger bomb for 2. Smith back Richards into the corner and gives him a few shots. Smith backs up and charges right into a super kick, Stevie covers and puts his foot on the rope to make sure he gets the 3 at 5.46.

Bad Breed are on the Hardcore Phoneline. Axl Rotten says they accept the challenge and how he has been around for much longer then Pitbulls. Axl says ECW isn’t big enough for the two teams. Axl says that if they lose they will adhere to the stipulation forever. That match is now official for the 7th.

Extreme Warfare Royal Rumble
Chad Austin is in the ring and says he is leaving ECW for WCW. The locker room basically empties and everyone beats the shit out of Austin and they toss him out of the ring. Clips of Axl Rotten and the Pitbulls brawling. Cactus Jack fought with Sandman and “Ironman” Tommy Cairo. Cactus eliminated Cairo but then get attacked by Jack. Taz nailed lots of suplexes until Tag Team Champion Public Enemy got to him. Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit get rid of Tazmaniac and go after Tommy Dreamer who has been in the ring for awhile. Ron Simmons hits the ring and Benoit goes after his shoulder right away and drives it into the turnbuckle. Simmons really selling the shoulder. Malenko and Benoit charge but Simmons dumps them both winning the Rumble. After the match Malenko and Benoit continued the attack on the shoulder of Simmons. 4.15 of the match was shown.

Back to the city and PE are in Time Square to which everyone a Happy New Year. “Flyboy” Rocco Roc and Johnny Grunge say 1995 is the year they end Paul E Dangerously.

Paul E. talks about how Benoit, Malenko and PE have made three enemies that will end them. A true Dangerous Alliance. Three men that don’t like each other or care about anyone or anything. Paul E says that don’t forgive and don’t forget. Paul E is going to fail 911 and Taz and Sabu are going to take out Malenko and Benoit.

TV Champion Dean Malenko (w/ Jason) vs. Ray Odyssey, ref Jim Malineaux
Nice reversal spots frustrate Malenko and send him to the floor. Ray with a slingshot dive to the floor. Back in the ring test of strength and Malenko brings it to the ground and grabs a leg lock. Odyssey comes back and works the leg himself. Malenko reverses a corner whip and Odyssey goes hard chest first into the buckle. Texas clover leaf gets the win for Malenko in 3.47.

Chris Benoit vs. “Shah” Hack Meyers, ref John Finnegan
Benoit attacks during the ref’s instructions and nails Hack with a clothesline. Snap suplex by Benoit. Northern lights for 2. Benoit throws Hack onto the top rope from a suplex position. Hack reverses a corner whip and fires away on Benoit. Hack with a leg drop on the apron. Benoit ducks a line and drops Hack with a full nelson suplex. Hack holds his neck and the back of his head. The ref calls for the bell in 3.59. Hack is getting stretchered out and Dean Malenko comes and knocks him off and stomps him as Benoit calls out Sabu. Sabu and Taz come out and then Tag Team Champions Public Enemy hit the ring and attack them from behind. Locker room empties.

A dedication to Art Barr who recently passed away is shown.

My thoughts on the show…
A wild finish to an otherwise underwhelming episode of TV to finish off the year.
