While it was reported that TNA’s move to Wednesday nights on Spike TV was permanent, Dave Meltzer reports that there is no new deal between Spike TV and TNA. It was said that this isn’t a reason for TNA fans to celebrate.
Another issue going around TNA is the mystery of Bound For Glory, scheduled to take place on October 12th from Tokyo, Japan.
There have been no Bound For Glory mentions on TV recently, no hype for the event in Japan and there were very little mentions or references to Bound For Glory at the most recent set of Impact Wrestling tapings. Word is that no one backstage knows what’s going on either.
Then, PWInsider Elite Reported the following…
– We noted before that Spike TV officials were at TNA’s recent New York City tapings. Word is that representatives from other networks were in attendance as well.
– The backstage meeting before TNA’s New York City taping on August 6th had Bully Ray doing the talking with John Gaburick there also. They told the TNA talents that the company was not closing and they were working on several different deals. They implied that everything is fine.
