– Vince McMahon has reportedly ordered more major cuts for WWE.

Apparently the cutbacks are working as WWE’s losses for this year won’t be nearly as large as they were expecting just a month ago. The latest number going around is into eight-figures.

There continues to be a lot of fear within WWE that there are major cuts coming besides the talent cuts and some production cuts that have already been done.

As noted, the cuts are a result of WWE’s new TV deal being announced and the increase in fees coming in much lower than WWE officials expected.

– The June 28th WWE live event in Portland, Maine drew 2,500 fans while the June 29th live event in Bangor drew 3,000 fans.

– Ric Flair still has not been given a return date by WWE.

– There is talk of airing The Monday Night War series on Thursday nights as a lead-in for NXT on the WWE Network. The series would begin airing once the current season of Total Divas replays finishes.

I’d personally like to note that should the Monday Night Wars air on Thursdays it would make the most sense for this year as the “Wars” technically starts on September 4th, and 9/4 falls on a Thursday this year.
