– Sean Waltman tweeted the following about Triple H and how WWE Payback went off the air:

“Going of the air they had all three Shield guys standing over the fallen Evolution. They laid there for Shield & they didn’t show it. Why? All 3 guys put The Shield over for a reason & it would have been really nice to see the whole shot of them standing over Evolution. I promise you HHH would have wanted that shot to go home on. Not a tight shot of their face. He can’t direct while he’s laying on his back.”

– Source: F4WOnline – Roman Reigns mentioned on the WWE Payback Fallout post-show last night that he thought he tore his triceps. No word yet if that’s a legitimate injury or he was just hyping up how brutal the match was.

– F4WOnline noted that going into last night’s show, WWE expected Paige and Sheamus to get booed heavily from the Chicago crowd.

– Reddit user Dolphins1925 predicted the UK betting site favorites to win at WWE Payback last night, but incorrectly predicted that Bo Dallas would defeat Kofi Kingston. That match obviously wasn’t listed in the betting odds as it was a late addition. Dolphins1925 also didn’t predict Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel, which was also added late.

– Batista commented on all of the fan backlash for his blue gear at WWE Payback last night and “BlueTista” trending on Twitter. He tweeted:
“6 guys go 2 war and beat the s–t out of each other and what do the genius smarks walk away with? “Batista wore blue! What a loser!” #dips–ts”

– There was a lot of speculation on social media that Stephanie McMahon had a little accident at last night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view. After getting slapped hard by Brie Bella at the show, Stephanie seemed to be sporting a stain on the back of her dress. However, it appears that it was just how the lighting was hitting her dress. You can check out a photo here. She was also still sporting the dress backstage after the angle, which you can check out here http://instagram.com/p/ouVIRkAFFi/

– WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley wrote the following on Facebook regarding last night’s match at WWE Payback between John Cena and Bray Wyatt:

THE REAL WINNER
Just finished watching #Payback and I thought it was a heck of a show – great atmosphere, a slap heard round the world, and matches that more than lived up to expectations. I received well over 1,000 comments about the show, and I know many of you are disappointed that Bray Wyatt did not emerge victorious in his match with John Cena.

Or did he?

Winning is all relative in sports-entertainment, and in this wrestling fan’s eyes, Bray did indeed emerge victorious. He may not have made it to his feet by the 10 count last night, but in his promos and in his matches, Brey Wyatt has shown me that he is more than capable of standing on his own two feet at the very forefront of the new generation of WWE Superstars.

Unfortunately, there is no mathamatical formula for making a star in pro-wrestling. But if I had to boil down all the ingredients of the star-making process into one word, that one word would be “feuds”. Fans remember feuds, and Wyatt’s character and promos put him in a great position to create memorable feuds with just about any of the top stars in the company. Besides, there just might be some gas left in the Wyatt/Cena tank.
