– There has been a lot of speculation about WWE signing top indie star Uhaa Nation. Word is that he has been offered a developmental deal and there’s no word yet if he has accepted the deal. There is some talk on the indies that Nation is not taking dates past a certain point.

– We noted a while back that WWE creative was told to start working on a return storyline for Rey Mysterio. The storyline was supposed to run from the Survivor Series pay-per-view and end at WrestleMania 31. With Survivor Series long gone, the return storyline is now off. No word yet on if Rey will still be returning to WWE TV as was expected.

– Top indie tag team The Young Bucks were invited to WWE’s tryouts back in September but they politely turned it down.

– The December 13th WWE live event in Wheeling, West Virginia drew 4,000 fans. Monday’s RAW from Detroit drew a near sellout of 11,800 fans.

– We noted before that former TNA Knockout Brittany (Santana Garrett) was backstage at last week’s NXT Takeover special. She was actually scheduled to wrestle NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte at the Friday night NXT TV tapings but Charlotte was booked twice already so the match was nixed. The entire set of NXT TV tapings were actually re-written that afternoon.
